Despite Show’s Success, One Segment Didn’t Deliver
Was the WWE unhappy with a Royal Rumble segment? As happy as the WWE was its 28 January PLE, rumor has it that the company was less than thrilled by one segment—Hardy’s musical performance.
The country music singer/songwriter performed between the Women’s Rumble Match and the Kevin Owens vs Roman Reigns main event. Fightful Select is reporting that:

The WWE did have one amusing segment with Hardy, following up on his appearance at RAW.
According to Ringside News’ H. Jenkins, the WWE opted not to put the performance on its YouTube channel.
WWE Unhappy with Royal Rumble Segment?
Analysis: While music is always a matter of taste, Hardy’s performance was nothing memorable. Whether this was due to singing ability and/or sound problems is unknown. However, it’s understandable why fans weren’t dazzled by him.
The WWE’s uneven track record with musical performances makes WrestleLamia wonder why the WWE even bothers with them.
