Source Claims Company is Confident Show “Will Deliver”
Is the WWE confident in tonight’s MITB show? Tonight’s Money in the Bank won’t take place in Allegiant Stadium as planned nor will it include WWE Superstars Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, or Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns.
While those setbacks and absences could be a challenge, WrestleVotes is reporting:
As WrestleLamia has nmentioned before, the WWE’s premium events typically deliver plenty of action and storyline development regardless of who is on the card or how the show is promoted.
The WWE’s roster is so full of talent that it’s rare that a show is lacking in quality matches. Tonight’s premium event features four championship matches and two ladder matches.
While Bianca Belair vs. Carmella doesn’t seem like much of a match, Belair will have a chance to prove she can make anyone look good.
As for Ronda Rousey vs. Natalya, this is the type of match that belongs on TV (as does the Carmella match) but unlike Carmella, Natalya knows how to wrestle a good match rather than throw a few spots together and hope for the best.
The Street Profits vs. Usos match is another bout that should be exciting, even if the outcome is inevitable. Theory vs. Bobby Lashley will be interesting if for no other reason than to see if Theory gets the win.
Injuries are inevitable and it’s shows like this that prove whether a promotion is a one-trick pony or if it has a deep enough roster to keep things rolling when top stars are sidelined.
