You may recall rumors that Trish Stratus was heading to WrestleMania. There were tales of Trish teaming with Lita and Becky Lynch to battle Damage-CTRL. According to one report, Trish was supposed to show up on the 20 February RAW.
Trish didn’t show up, reportedly due to a last-minute creative change. However, that may not be the case. Consider this tweet from Ringside News’ H. Jenkins:
The report’s details are vague enough that WrestleLamia cautions against reading too much into it. For example, don’t take the story as proof that Triple H and Trish clashed over a storyline.
Jenkins added:
It was stressed to us that it is unknown whether Trish Stratus was angry about the situation. That being said, any report saying there was an “issue with creative” cannot be substantiated, but she was there and did leave before the Ding Dong Hello segment aired on television.

While some wrestlers are happy to appear on TV under any circumstances and reconnect with their fans; others are more particular with how they are presented, wanting to make sure they do something that doesn’t tarnish their legacy.
Sadly, the WWE has a history of bringing legends back for no other reason than to humiliate them in order to put current wrestlers over. WrestleLamia isn’t saying this is what happened with Trish. We’re merely pointing out that some wrestlers want to leave fans with a good impression when they return.
