WWE Brand Split WON’T Be Ending

Good news for fans of the current brand split.

There have been rumours circulating on social media that the brand split is coming to an end.

This was supported by WWE unifying both the WWE and Universal Titles at WrestleMania 38, and WWE recently unifying the RAW and SmackDown Tag Team Titles.

A number of days ago, Bryan Alvarez from the Wrestling Observer claimed that the brand split was “essentially done”. Alvarez stated: “I mean they haven’t officially said anything, but the brand extension is essentially done. Half of the Raw crew is going to be on SmackDown Friday. Cody’s going to be there, I think Seth is going to be there. They’re just going to do whatever”.

However, Andrew Zarian, who has got a number of notable scoops correct over the past few months, has stated that WWE have no set plans to bring the brand split to an end. Zarian tweeted:

Spoke with WWE regarding the brand split this morning WWE source stated that the brand split will not be ending. However, the current plan is to have more individuals jump from brand to brand depending on storylines. #WWE #WWERAW #SmackDown”.

This is great news, and hopefully the brand split stays in place for years to come.
