Rhea Ripley Battles Akira Tozawa
The WWE books an intergender match on RAW after Rhea Ripley demands a match with Akira Tozawa. The Judgment Day battled The Street Profits with Akira Tozawa in Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford’s corner.
The babyfaces got the win while Akira Tozawa threw a red Solo cup full of liquid into Dominik Mysterio’s face. Mysterio has been recovering from last week’s incident when Asuka sprayed him with poison mist.
Akira’s assault on Rhea Ripley’s main squeeze led to her slugging Tozawa after the match and challenging him to a one-on-one match.
Tozawa relied on his speed to elude Rhea Ripley but he couldn’t match up against outside interference from The Judgment Day, even with The Street Profits backing him up.
Although Akira came up short, he’s received a push ever since ditching his ninja gimmick several weeks back. Tozawa may be a mid-card act but he continues to get booked on a regular basis on RAW.

It’s been quite some time since the WWE booked an intergender match and while this was played largely for laughs, it was still quite the change of pace.
