Two Title Matches Added to Saudi Arabia Supershow
Good news for fans looking forward to some title bouts as the WWE adds two Crown Jewel matches. The WWE announced the matches on the 28 October edition of SmackDown.
Undisputed Tag Team Championship Match
The WWE changed the originally booked six-man tag match between The Brawling Brutes and The Bloodline to an Undisputed Tag Team Championship Match.
The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Ridge Holand, and Butch) were originally scheduled to battle The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso). However, the WWE booked an injury angle with Sheamus two weeks ago on SmackDown, reportedly in order for “The Celtic Warrior” to get married.
Fans wondered what might happen to the match with Sheamus out of the picture. Now, Holland and Butch have another shot at the Undisputed Tag Team Championship.
The Usos also have a lot at stake as the team is looking to surpass The New Day’s record for the longest reign as tag team champions.
Jey Uso also has a lot to prove after Roman Reigns warned him to get his act together or Sami Zayn will become Sami Uso.
Last Woman Standing Match for the RAW Women’s Championship
The WWE added another match after Bayley defeated RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair in a non-title match (albeit with some unsolicited help from Nikki Cross). This rubber match will hopefully answer the question of whether Bayley has what it takes to defeat Bianca Belair for the championship. However, will Belair be able to do so as long as Bayley has Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky at her side?
