Jey and Jimmy Uso have been unstoppable since winning the SmackDown Tag Team Championship from the Mysterios at 2021’s SummerSlam. Will the unlikely team of “The King of Strong Style” and Rick Boogs do the unthinkable and wrest the titles from them?

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match. The Usos (Champions) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs: Nakamura starts off against Jimmy, laying into the 7-time tag team champion with a series and knees. Blind tag quickly turns the tide as Jey lays into Shinsuke. Quick tag as the Usos quickly wear down “The King of Strong Style” while Rick Boogs watches on helplessly. Shinsuke mounts a brief comeback but dines on an enziguri and crumbles to the mat. Nakamura manages to catch Jimmy with a kick and tags in Boogs. Jimmy tags in Jey as the big man goes after both Usos. Boogs catches Jey in a bearhug, turning it into a vertical suplex. Cover on Jey but Jey kicks out. Boogs lifts Jey on his shoulders as Jimmy jumps up and Rick’s knee goes out. Tag to Nakamura as Boogs is writhing in pain outside the ring. Shinsuke sizes Jey up but runs into a superkick. Tag to Jimmy who hits the Uso Splash. Cover on Shinsuke who kicks out at two. Shinsuke sizes Jey up but runs into a superkick. Tag to Jimmy who hits the Uso Splash. Cover on Shinsuke who kicks out at two. Another tag as the Usos hit the 1-D, covering Shinsuke for the win.

Winners: The Usos (Jey and Jimmy retain

Grade: A : A good match that saw a solid effort from the Usos and Shinsuke following Boogs’ legitimate injury, as they made the best out of a bad situation.
