Major Matches Including NXT vs NXT UK Title Unification Bouts
Time for your Worlds Collide results as WrestleLamia looks at the supershow involving the stars of both NXT 2.0 and NXT UK.
North American Championship Match. Carmello Hayes (Champion) with Trick Williams vs. Ricochet: A furiously-paced opener as Ricochet had to deal with the outside presence of Trick Williams while also dealing with the formidable skills of the champion. The match ended after Ricochet went for the Shooting Star Press, only for Hayes to counter and roll the challenger up for the three-count.
Winner: Carmello Hayes
Fatal Four Way Tag Team Unification Match. The Creed Brothers (NXT Tag Team Champions) with Damon Kemp vs. Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs (NXT UK Tag Team Champions) vs. Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) with Joe Coffey vs. Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson): Betrayal costs The Creed Brothers the win as Damon Kemp clobbers Julius Creed with a chair, allowing Pretty Deadly to get the win and the titles.
Winners: Pretty Deadly (New Unified NXT Tag Team Champions).
Triple Threat Title Unification Match. Mandy Rose (NXT Women’s Champion) vs. Meiko Satomura (NXT UK Women’s Champion) vs. Blair Davenport: All out chaos as all three Superstars battle to unify the women’s championships and show they’re at the top of the mountain. Blair Davenport lands a missile dropkick on Meiko only for Mandy Rose to knee her in the face and get the duke.
Winner: Mandy Rose (Unified NXT Women’s Champions)
NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship Match. Katana Chance and Kayden Carter (Champions) vs. Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H:
Nikki and Doudrop look to be NXT Women’s Tag Champions; that is until Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne distract the challengers. While Nikki deals with Toxic Attraction, Chance takes out Doudrop, covering her for the win.
Winners: Katana Chance and Kayden Carter
NXT Title Unification Match. Bron Breakker (NXT Champion) vs. Tyler Bate (NXT UK Champion):
It’s a mix of power wrestling and submission as Breakker and Bate show why they’re the best on their respective brands. However, in the end, there can only be one and Breakker spears Tyler to get the 1-2-3.
Winner: Bron Breakker (Unified NXT Heavyweight Champion)
After the match, both men celebrate in a sign of mutual respect.
