Fans Curious About Queen Zelina’s Whereabouts
Where’s Zelina Vega? No, that’s not the name of a new game show from the WWE (although judging by the never-ending amount of content produced for the WWE on Peacock and YouTube, you can never be certain). Instead, fans are asking where Queen Zelina has been and when she’ll be back.
The winner of 2021’s inaugural Queen’s Crown tournament has been missing in action from WWE TV for a few weeks, leaving fans of her incredibly awful English accent asking where she is. Turns out “The Queen” is taking time off for surgery, at least according to PWInsider, which notes Her Majesty should be back around SummerSlam.
Wrestling News’ Paul Davis added that:
The positive news coming out of this is that WWE is reportedly looking to push her when she returns. Vega has been praised for being willing to do what has been asked of her and people backstage have noticed the hard work she’s put in.

What’s particularly interesting about Zelina is that at one point it appeared her WWE career was over after the company released her in November 2020, with rumor having it Vega refused to go along with the WWE’s demand that all wrestlers turn over control of their third-party platforms such as Twitch and Cameo.
Vega returned in 2021 and was given a push, with Vega going from her previous role as a manager to one of an in-ring performer. Not only that but Vega received a significant push, winning the Queen’s Crown Tournament and the Women’s Tag Team Championship.
While it would be a stretch to say Vega is one of the WWE’s best workers, she has improved in the ring and has much to offer as a performer whether it’s working as a manager, an announcer, or a wrestler.
