Documents Suggest Case May Be Concluded
Has the Velveteen Dream criminal case been closed? That’s the question being asked after a report from PWInsider suggests the case is no longer on the court’s official records.
Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online’s Ian Carey commented on the report about former WWE Superstar Velveteen Dream (aka Patrick Clark):
He [Clark] was scheduled to appear in court on September 28 but according to a report from PW Insider, court records indicate the date has been canceled. No other court date for the case is listed which could mean the charges have been dropped.

Velveteen Dream Criminal Case Closed?
The aforementioned criminal case appears to be related to the following alleged incident that took place on 20 August:
Former WWE superstar Velveteen Dream exploded on a gym employee before his arrest last month … punching the man in the face and then biting him — this according to new police documents, obtained by TMZ Sports.The incident allegedly happened on Aug. 20 at around 8:4 PM at Club Orlando — a fitness facility in Orlando, Fl.

Analysis: Unless the case is dismissed, it’s possible that Clark could still face criminal prosecution. Although WrestleLamia is not making a legal opinion, anyone familiar with the criminal justice system knows that cases are occasionally taken off a calendar while law enforcement looks into it further.
