Shocking Turn of Events After Tag Team Match
Trish Stratus turns heel and attacks Becky Lynch. The shocking turn of events occurred following a makeshift Women’s Tag Team Championship defense by Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus. The two defended the belts against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.
As WrestleLamia mentioned elsewhere, an unknown attacker took Lita out backstage. Thankfully, WWE authority figure Adam Pearce told Lynch that Trish Stratus could substitute for Lita. After a heated battle, Liv dodged a Chick Kick, rolling Stratus up for the win.
While RAW’s tag team title match was over, the fireworks were just beginning on RAW. An angry Stratus attacked Becky after the match.
WWE backstage interviewer Cathy Kelley tried to interview Trish backstage. However, the WWE Hall of Famer had nothing to say.
Stratus’ turn comes in the wake of rumors that the WWE was planning a Becky Lynch vs Trish Stratus feud. This could be an exciting feud and certainly qualifies as a dream match.
For now, fans will have to wonder what made Stratus snap. It will also be interesting to see who attacked Lita.
