Triple H Warned Against Bringing CM Punk Back

Bischoff gets serious.

Former RAW General Manager, Eric Bischoff has advised head of WWE creative, Triple H to resist bringing CM Punk back into the WWE.

Whilst speaking to Wrestling Inc, Bischoff revealed:

I don’t know what Paul Levesque is thinking, I don’t know what their plans are, their strategies are, so I have no idea. I can tell you from my perspective, I wouldn’t touch him with a 10-foot pole. I think CM Punk had a mystique because of WWE, and because of the pipe bomb interview, and because he walked out, that created this aura and mystique that AEW CEO Tony Khan brought to AEW and took advantage of for a minute. And once that mystique was gone, once you kind of let that air out of the balloon, and now you’re just performing every week, I didn’t see it in Punk. I just didn’t see it in him as a character, I didn’t see it in him in the ring –- he was good, but he wasn’t phenomenal”.

Bischoff would go one step further in his disparaging comments towards Punk, as he would refer to him as “old and fragile”. Bischoff added:

“He’s old, he’s fragile, he was never in great shape to begin with, he didn’t start out as an athlete, and now at 44 years old, he’s fragile as hell. So what would you do [with him]? Especially in WWE, where the intensity, and the physicality, and the schedule is so much more than it is in AEW, just the sheer workload”.

There is mixed information surrounding the in-ring status of Punk. We know that AEW could be looking to “buy-out” his AEW contract, and reports indicate that Punk still has a desire to wrestle again. We also know that Triple H’s stance in relation to Punk returning has changed, and The Game could potentially be open to have return led talks with the former WWE and AEW Champion. What do you make of Bischoff’s comments? Are they fair and justified? Let us know in the comments below.

I think punks a asset he isn’t what he used to be with right script and direction I think he would be a great heel turn if they don’t just abuse the talent like in some cases like Rey and edge or the former top guys that’s been on their is alot of fan base that would generate from these guys getting good runs and pushes while earning there way not just walking in and getting slammed by strowman or the tribal cheif I wouldn’t have a full time contract unless it states must perform an be in a fit contending form to wrestle just my opinion

I get paid over 190$ per hour working from home with 2 kids at home. I never thought I’d be able to do it but my best friend earns over 10k a month doing this and she convinced me to try. The potential with this is endless. Heres what I’ve been doing..

HHH would be really stupid to sign him. He brings bad publicity. His abysmal attitude needs checked. Phil Brooks is a fragile weakling that I could KO easily. Maybe that’s what he needs, another UFC fight so he can lose again.
