Former Female Star Refuses WWE Return for Now
A former female talent claims she won’t return to the WWE until Vince leaves. Who is the talent, and why is she adamant against returning to the WWE?
As fans know, With Vince McMahon under a media microscope for paying several women big bucks to sign nondisclosure agreements.
These NDAs concern alleged affairs, and at least one instance of alleged misconduct, a situation currently being investigated by a law firm hired by the WWE’s Board of Directors.
The current scandal has led to the media revisiting other allegations made by women against McMahon, including former WWF referee Rita Chatterton.
Female Talent Won’t Return Until Vince Leaves: Former Referee Talks Return
You may recall Chatterton worked for the WWF in the 80s only to leave and later claim she was sexually assaulted by McMahon.
Although nothing came of the allegations (the criminal statute of limitations had passed by that time), Chatterton’s claim has led to a renewed interest in her allegations.
Chatteron recently appeared on the Cheap Heat Productions podcast and was asked if she’d ever return to the WWE:
“I would consider it. would depend on what it was. I never completely close a door. I would never go back to work for Vince McMahon. Okay? Never, but that doesn’t mean I hate wrestling. That doesn’t mean I’m down on wrestling. In fact, I have a little girl right now that I’m training.”

In light of the recent hush-money scandal, it’s no surprise that one or more female talents might pass on a WWE return as long as Vince McMahon is around.
