Sting Preparing for Retirement

Sting Talks “Grand Finale.”

Sting is preparing for retirement but just when and where remains to be seen. It’s time for a follow-up to a previous report about when Sting plans to walk away from the squared circle.

The Stinger recently spoke with D Magazine’s Mike Piellucci and discussed what he wants from his last match:

“Whatever I do, I want wrestling fans to say, ‘That was incredible. I don’t want them to walk away going, ‘That was embarrassing.’ I just want it to be a great memory and then to just finally, once and for all, say, ‘Adios.’”

H/T D Magazine

The Stinger also admitted he did something he said he wouldn’t do—becoming the wrestler who returns from retirement time after time:

“I swore to myself, ‘I’m never going to be one of those guys,’ and I’m one of those guys 10 times over.”

H/T D Magazine

Still, there’s no denying that the fans have embraced Sting’s return, despite him not being the same wrestler he was during his prime. That hasn’t stopped Sting from trying and his in-ring performances astonished fans once he began making sick dives.

With his contract winding down, Sting said he’s looking for a grand finale to send the fans home happy and give them and him, the spectacular send-off he didn’t get in the WWE

Dave Meltzer speculated that Sting’s contract is likely ending at the end of this year  and it “…would likely be December since he started at Winter is Coming in 2020” (H/T 16 January 2023 Wrestling Observer Newsletter)

“The Man Called Sting’s” last match will likely involve Darby Allin. The Stinger noted in a previous interview that he intends Darby to play a major role in his last hurrah.

I make more then $12,000 a month online. It’s enough to comfortably replace my old jobs income, especially considering I only work about 11 to 12 hours a week from home. I was amazed how easy it was after I tried it…
:)AND GOOD LUCK.:)

I work from home and make a decent $6k a week, which is incredible considering that I was jobless in a bad economy a year ago. I always thank God for honoring me with these guidelines, and now it’s my responsibility to demonstrate and share anticipatory compassion with

everyone. Similarly, I’ve just begun———> http://Www.Smartcash1.com

They give me $285 an hour to finish work on an laptop. I certainly didn’t think it was possible, but my trusted friend made $29,000 in just four weeks working on this simple opportunity and she influenced me to give it a try. Discover more instructions by visiting

I get paid over 200$ per hour working from home with 2 kids at home. I never thought I’d be able to do it but my best friend earns over 10k a month doing this and she convinced me to try. The potential with this is endless. Heres what I’ve been doing.
🙂 AND GOOD LUCK.:)
