One of the main storylines on WWE TV in 2019 was between Roman Reigns and Shane McMahon. This storyline eventually involved, and McMahon would seek help from Drew McIntyre and The Revival.
According to Dax Harwood, McMahon believed that the stable could be like a new Four Horsemen. Discussing this on the FTR Podcast, Harwood added:
“From what I understand, Shane McMahon wanted this. I remember Shane was talking to Michael Hayes about it. We had a little interaction with Shane and Drew [McIntyre] and we came to the back. Shane said, ‘There’s something here, Michael,’ talking about the four of us. He said, ‘There’s something here. ‘He said, ‘This could be like the Four Horsemen”.
