Joe Captures Second Title in AEW
Samoa Joe wins the TNT Championship in a three-way match against Wardlow and Powerhouse Hobbs. Full Gear featured a whole host of championship battles but this one featured three of AEW’s toughest wrestlers.
As you might expect, this one was a back-and-forth as neither man could take out an opponent long enough to focus on the other opponent. In the end, Wardlow seemed to have things going his way when he hit two powerbombs on Hobbs, looking for a third. However, Samoa Joe entered the ring with his ROH TV Championship belt, bonking Wardlow in the head and locking the Kokina Clutch on an unconscious Hobbs for the win.
