Kevin Owens Challenges Undisputed Champion
Roman Reigns vs KO has been booked for the Royal Rumble. It was a rough night for Sami Zayn as The Bloodline opened the first SmackDown of 2023 and an angry Roman Reigns confronted “The Honorary Uce” about their tag team loss to John Cena and Kevin Owens last week.
Reigns called out Sami Zayn, asking him why he was acting like “The Tribal Chief” and questioning whether Zayn wants to be “The Tribal Chief.” Reigns was livid and things looked bad for Zayn. Thankfully, Kevin Owens showed up and confronted Roman.
KO told Roman he was misdirecting his anger. Owens reminded Roman about his “Kevin Owens problem” and suggested they meet up at The Royal Rumble.
The WWE confirmed the match which means KO will finally get his rematch against Reigns. You may recall the two had a “Last Man Standing” Match at the 2021 Royal Rumble for the Universal Championship. Reigns won that match thanks to some help from The Bloodline. How will things turn out this time?
Roman vs KO Booked for Royal Rumble
KO vs Roman Reigns should be a fantastic match. Both Superstars have worked before and shown good chemistry. Unfortunately, with WrestleMania fast approaching, it seems unlikely the WWE will have Reigns lose.
