The Tribal Chief wasn’t happy.
Following Roman Reigns’ successful title defence over Drew McIntyre in the main event of the show, Reigns appeared at the press conference to answer questions from the UK media. Reigns answered these questions completely in character, and ultimately decided to completely walk out of the scheduled press conference.
Following a question from Alex McCarthy, Reigns informed McCarthy to acknowledge him. Reigns would then pick up his two World Titles, leaving the press conference with immediate effect. It’s unclear what exactly was planned with Reigns’ appearance, as even Triple H looked kind of stunned by Reigns’ sudden departure. Reigns’ heel work is second to none, and it’s rare that Reigns ever deviates away from his established heel tendencies. The match Reigns had with McIntyre received widespread praise last night; however, there was some criticism directed towards the decision not to crown McIntyre as the new Undisputed Champion.
