The Tribal Chief is still a good-guy at heart!
Reigning WWE and Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, broke character after his live event match with Drew McIntyre last night. Following Reigns’ victory, Reigns cut a promo thanking fans for supporting the WWE superstars, and he urged fans not to share the video online, as he didn’t want people to see him breaking his heel character.
Reigns has been a heel ever since he returned to WWE in 2020, and the character has completely changed the perception of The Tribal Chief in the eyes of the fans. Reigns has been delivering the best work of his entire career, and fans have truly accepted him as the number 1 guy in the company.
There was some concern following Reigns’ main event showdown with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 that he may have been injured, but thankfully, that doesn’t appear to be the case. Reigns is rumoured to defend his titles at the WrestleMania Backlash event, but it’s unclear who Reigns will be facing at the premium live event. It’s possible that Reigns will face Shinsuke Nakamura, but nothing is official at this stage.
