Is the Rock coming to the 2023 Royal Rumble? More to the point, could fans hear these words, “Finally, the Rock has come back to the Royal Rumble…?”

Dave Meltzer recently discussed the possibility:

This Royal Rumble, there’s so many different things that they can do at this Royal Rumble to build up to WrestleMania. Obviously everyone would expect Cody, there’s always the chance of Dwayne, others that can be thrown in there.

Is The Rock Coming to Royal Rumble?

With continued talk of The Rock facing Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XXXIX, could this be the way the WWE inserts him into the title picture?

While The Rock could compete in the Rumble match, it’s possible he could confront Roman Reigns at the Rumble, challenging him to a match.

This could create a problem though as the winner of the Rumble would theoretically have to skip challenging Reigns at WrestleMania. There’s always the possibility that Reigns will drop the Undisputed Championship before ‘Mania but that would negate the two-and-a-half build of Reigns’ stranglehold on the world belts.
