WWE have provided an injury update on Riddle.
There was some major concern from fans last night on SmackDown, that Riddle had been seriously hurt.
During RK-Bro’s match with The Usos, Riddle hit the turnbuckle hard. He then proceeded to stop selling, and the referee signalled to the back, so a doctor could come check on his condition.
According to WWE, Riddle has suffered a bruised hip and injury to his lower back.
It’s entirely possible that Riddle is fine, and his injuries are a work. It looks like both Riddle and Randy Orton will be taking some time away from WWE TV to sell their apparent injuries.
It was reported yesterday that both Riddle and Orton have a date set with Roman Reigns in the upcoming months. Riddle is rumoured to face The Head of the Table at the Money in the Bank premium live event. Whilst, Orton is set to meet Reigns at SummerSlam in July.
As always, we will keep you posted on any further developments relating to the apparent injury to Riddle.
