Lesnar v Reigns is now set for SummerSlam.

Following Roman Reigns’ successful title defence against Riddle last night on SmackDown, Brock Lesnar made his return to WWE.

Lesnar is now set to meet Reigns at SummerSlam in a Last Man Standing match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title.

This match announcement has received criticism from fans, as the majority of fans had assumed that the feud had come to a natural conclusion at WrestleMania 38.

According to a new report by Fighful Select, WWE made the decision to book Reigns v Lesnar on the show, once they realised that Orton’s injury was worse than expected. 

Lesnar was always set to appear at SummerSlam, but it’s unknown who his initial opponent was going to be.
