Paige Leaving WWE in Less
Paige is leaving the WWE in July. Wrestling’s “Anti-Diva” took to social media to inform the WWE Universe that her last day in Titanland will be 7 July. In some ways the news is surprising in light of how long Paige has been in the WWE but at the same time, it seems like she’s wanted to do more than be a background figure.
Paige told the fans:

July 7th will be the last day with WWE. I’m so thankful and I appreciate the opportunities that the company has given me. I will always be appreciative of the company that took in an 18 year old British pale emo girl that didn’t look like your average diva, giving me the chance of a lifetime and making me feel like a superstar. I know after my neck injury taking me out of in ring status, it was pretty hard to keep me around for as long as you did and for that I’m thankful too. Thank you to the WWE Universe. You guys are the most passionate group of fans I’ve ever seen. Hope you continue to stay on this journey with me. I think the toughest part weirdly enough is having to let the Paige name go! But Saraya is helluva name. Kudos to my mum for that one

How Paige Changed Women’s Wrestling
Paige’s contributions to the WWE’s women’s division cannot be overstated. Paige was a breath of fresh air for fans tired of what seemed like an assembly line of various busty blonds bumbling about the squared circle. While the Divas Era had some good wrestlers, Paige shook things up.
The Norwich native provided plenty of excitement in and out of the ring. Paige’s exploits outside the ring often garnered as much attention as her work in the WWE.
Sadly, Paige’s in-ring career was cut short but she did appear on WWE TV as an authority figure, serving as SmackDown Live’s General Manager and then as a manager for the Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane).
Paige Leaving WWE: What’s Next?
Paige gave her fans a hint that her wrestling career may not be over as she finished her WWE farewell with his tease:
FYI I’m not saying I’ll never be in the ring. That day will most certainly come again! Wherever the return maybe.
