Damage-CTRL Regain Women’s Tag Titles With an Assist
New WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions have been crowned at Crown Jewel thanks to some outside assistance.
Alexa Cross and Asuka (who recently defeated Damage-CTRL’s Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky on the Halloween edition of RAW) seemed to have the match in hand despite a spirited challenge from the former champions.
Alexa Bliss went to end the match while Iyo Sky and Asuka battled in and out of the ring, leading to the referee’s attention being off the legal competitors. Bliss went to the top rope for “Twisted Bliss” only for Nikki Cross to show up, knocking Bliss off the top rope and allowing Kai to cover Bliss for the 1-2-3.

Prior to the match, Byron Saxton interviewed Alexa and Asuka with a brief image of Bray Wyatt’s fireflt logo playing on a monitor, momentarily distracting Bliss.
