Fatal Five-Way Match Determines Liv Morgan’s Challenger
There’s a new contender for the women’s title on SmackDown. The WWE held a Fatal Five-Way Elimination Chamber Match to determine the number one contender for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Tonight’s bout featured Sonya Deville, Lacey Evans, Xia Li, and Natalya, and Ronda Rousey in a lopsided affair that saw “Rowdy” Ronda eliminate one foe after another.
Rousey seemed ready to live up to her nickname, “The Baddest Woman on the Planet,” making Natalya and Lacey Evans tap out. Sonya Deville lent a hand by pinning Xia Li. Unfortunately, Sonya didn’t fare any better and ended up tapping out to Rousey.
New Contender for Women’s Title
Now, Liv Morgan faces Ronda Rousey for a third time. Morgan showed off some new submission holds against Shayna Baszler in her victory over “The Queen of Spades” at Clash at the Castle. However, it will take a miracle (or outside interference) for Liv to hold on to her title against Rousey.
As if that isn’t bad enough, Rousey appears to be trying to enlist the help of Shayna Baszler. Rousey hinted to Baszler backstage that it would be more satisfying to break some bones than winning a title.
