Tony Khan has commented on the incident.
One of, if not THE biggest talking point coming out of the Revolution PPV last night was MJF’s villainous conduct.
During his match with Bryan Danielson, MJF threw water over a young kid, and fans on social media were quick to criticise MJF’s conduct as “too far”.
During the post show press conference, MJF completely stayed in character, but Tony Khan seemed to address the seriousness of the situation:
“We had a conversation before we came up here. We had a serious conversation, and I mean that. And it’s not to be taken lightly. And the young man, Titus, was a real pro about it. And we’ll see Titus here again in AEW, and I believe Titus will be coming to Sacramento. But I was just with him, and Titus was a real champ about it. And you know, the champion didn’t act like a champion there. But I think Titus was great”.
It is also believed that the kid was allowed backstage to meet the AEW talent.
