Love for Horror Leads to Upcoming Hollywood Horror Roles
Liv Morgan shares her spooky side, letting fans know about her fondness for fright. Morgan, who recently dropped the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Ronda Rousey at Extreme Rules recently spoke with USA Network’s USA Insider.
Morgan revealed she’s scheduled to appear on the 26 October episode of Chucky. Liv talked about how she became a fan of the devil doll with a penchant for murder:
“I feel like I turned into a horror buff as I got older, but I’ve been a fan of the ‘Child’s Play’ franchise my entire life. I’ve seen every movie and Season 1 of ‘Chucky’ was something that I just loved. My fandom for ‘Chucky’ runs very, very deep — I have like, three Chucky dolls in my home,”

The 2022 Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase winner shared how working as a WWE Superstar prepared her for the TV role:
“It felt very familiar, being in that setting; it’s like I was at work in WWE. I didn’t realize how much WWE prepares you for something like this — the cameras, the backstages — when I was filming ‘Chucky’ it felt like I was filming backstage for WWE, it felt so similar, which was very comforting.”

Are More Hollywood Roles Coming for Morgan?
This isn’t Morgan’s only acting role. According to a report from Deadline:
WWE Superstar Liv Morgan will make her film debut in Yale Entertainment’s darkly comic thriller, The Kill Room. She joins an ensemble that also includes Uma Thurman, Samuel L. Jackson, Joe Manganiello, Maya Hawke, Debi Mazar, Larry Pine, Dree Hemingway and Leah McSweeney, as previously announced.

Morgan will play an art purist who bemoans the vapidness of art dealers.

In addition to The Kill Room, Morgan is eyeing one of Hollywood’s biggest franchises for a future role. Morgan chatted with Corey Graves on his After the Bell podcast about her dream gig:
“I will be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, that is a goal of mine. I can just feel it. I don’t know how I’m going to finagle or finesse my way in there, but I know that there is a role for me.”

Liv Morgan Shares Spooky Side
Liv’s love for horror extends beyond Chucky. She recently appeared on the red carpet for the premiere of Halloween Ends.
She wasn’t the only wrestler-turned-actor at the premiere. C.J. Perry (aka former WWE Superstar Lana) joined Liv there.
Morgan will never be convicted of having five-star matches (and if she was, it would be a miscarriage of justice). However, she has charisma and an “It” factor with plenty of potential to utilize in the ring and possibly in Hollywood.
