Lita and Lynch win the WWE tag titles after Trish Stratus saves the day! Trish showed up during the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match. This shocking appearance by the WWE Hall of Famer allowed Becky Lynch and Lita to defeat Damage-CTRL.
Becky Lynch and Lita challenged Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky for the WWE Tag Team Championship, but Bayley’s ringside presence seemed to stack the deck against the challengers. Things were looking bleak for Lita and Lynch until Trish Stratus’ music played.
Trish attacked Bayley, giving the babyfaces the opening they needed. Lynch and Lita regrouped, with Lita hitting a Moonsault on Iyo Sky for the win. Becky Lynch prevented Dakota Kai from breaking up the pin.
Lita and Becky Lynch are your new Women’s Tag Team Champions thanks to an assist from Trish Stratus. This shocking title change made for a special night on RAW.
It’s going to be interesting to see where things proceed from here. Rumor has it that the three babyfaces could face Damage-CTRL at WrestleMania.
However, there is also talk that Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler want a shot at the Women’s Tag Team Championship. Will this match happen at WrestleMania or before?
