It was reported a number of months ago that Kurt Angle almost joined AEW. Angle was going to wrestle several matches for the company, but this fell through, and Angle remained retired.
Speaking on his podcast, Angle has revealed just how much he was asking for in order to come out of retirement in AEW, Angle revealed:
“Well, to even consider coming back, it’s going to have to be a substantial amount of money. I do remember, Tony Khan wanted me to come in and wrestle for him. This was like 4 years ago, and I said, ‘For 10 matches, I want $3 million”.
As things stand – Angle remains retired. His last match was against Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35.
