Could Kross Be the Latest Released Wrestler to Return?
Is Karrion Kross returning to the WWE? The two-time NXT Champion could be the latest comeback story under Triple H’s WWE reign.
Fans have been speculating which recently released wrestlers might return to the WWE following Vince McMahon’s departure.
The WWE Universe has already witnessed Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky (aka Io Shirai) come back to Titanland following Vince’s exit and Triple H’s appointment to head of the WWE’s creative department.
Karrion Kross fans would like to forget his atrocious “promotion” to the main roster, one of the most bungled pushes featuring an NXT Superstar on RAW.
Karrion Kross Returning to WWE?
Wrestling News’ Andrew Ravens commented on a recent sign that Kross is at least contemplating a WWE return:
As previously reported, Kross recently posted a screenshot from a fan listening to his old WWE theme music and noted they wished Kross would make a return to the company. Many took this as him expressing his interest in a return.

Kross has worked since the WWE released him but he hasn’t appeared at any major shows in North America.
Rumor has it that he was contacted by AEW about appearing as one of MJF’s hired guns during “The Salt of the Earth’s” attempt to take out his bodyguard Wardlow.
Obviously, Kross felt it wasn’t to his advantage to make an AEW debut in a loss. Considering the WWE did the same thing to him when he debuted on RAW (there, Kross lost to Jeff Hardy), it was a good move to pass.
The fearsome Kross could shake things up on RAW or SmackDown if the WWE books him as a juggernaut as they did during his time on NXT.
The 37-year-old Superstar’s presentation would be even more appealing if the WWE reunited him with his real-life wife Scarlett. Although they worked together on NXT, they did not on RAW.
