Nobody saw this coming.

Last night on AEW Dynamite, Jon Moxley squashed CM Punk to become the Undisputed AEW World Champion.

Punk would appear to be injured in the match, and Moxley took advantage to defeat Punk. 

On the Wrestling Observer Board, Ryan Frederick confirmed that Punk is not injured and the plan is still for Moxley v Punk 2 at All Out.

It’s also been reported that Moxley didn’t like the original plans for the PPV, and pitched the match being moved to TV.
