CM Punk’s Instagram story rocked the wrestling world, and now, Jon Moxley has finally addressed the comments Punk made.
Speaking to his wife Renee Paquette on The Sessions, Moxley addressed Punk by stating:
“It’s f***** annoying. Just because somebody said some stupid s*** on social media, that’s not news…I don’t want to get dragged into this dumb s***. I could f****** unload on a lot of f****** people right now..but I’m not going to sink to that level”.
“I wanted to just ease into it and see what life was like on the other side. I basically don’t work there… For all intents and purposes, I don’t even work here. Tony is not my boss. I don’t even have to be in this room. I don’t have to do s***. So even me being in this room and offering and agreeing to a storyline that puts you over on a pay-per-view, if anything, I’m bending over backwards for Tony and for this dude. I didn’t have to. I didn’t have to do s***. So, that’s it”.
“As an observer, I spent eight years in the indies, a couple of years in WWE developmental. Eight years in WWE. I have never seen so much b******* drama in one place in my entire f****** life. I hate to say that, and I don’t know if it’s because of the age of social media, s*** gets blown out of proportion, like one person posts a drunk tweet and all of a sudden it’s all everyone wants to talk about…let me be clear. The vast majority of people don’t cause any problems there. But they’re getting sucked down into this s*** like everyone else”.
