This is worrying news.
It was reported a number of months ago that John Cena will be working WrestleMania 39 in April.
However, a new report from Dave Meltzer has indicated that Cena’s WrestleMania status is currently up in the air.
According to Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Cena will be filming a comedic movie with Zac Efron. He will be shooting through February and March, which could put Cena’s availability in serious jeopardy.
Meltzer added:
“There is a question regarding Cena at Mania. He is scheduled to be in Australia throughout February and March filming the movie “Ricky Stanicky,” a comedy with Zac Efron”.
