It is being reported that WWE filmed a segment between John Cena and Austin Theory during Cena’s WWE return last month.
This news comes from Fightful Select, who didn’t elaborate on what the segment was for.
Some fans are speculating it’s a segment to build towards WrestleMania 39, whilst some fans believe it’s something to do with WWE 2K23.
WWE 2K23 is set to be revealed at the Royal Rumble, and this could be linked.
Additionally, there is also the option that it was a segment that was going to air on the show itself, but was cut for various reasons.
