More Clues and Comments About Possibility that Paige Will Compete
Is Saraya wrestling in AEW? That seems to be the million-dollar question right now as fans and pundits debate the possibility of her wrestling as well as the pros and cons should she compete.
Saraya (aka former WWE Superstar Paige) hasn’t confirmed she’s in AEW to compete but Fightful Select is reporting that she signed a three-year deal and that her payday:
“largely implies that she’ll be wrestling in some capacity.”

While Saraya’s signing wasn’t a shocker (there were murmurings of her heading to AEW after her WWE contract expired earlier this summer), Jim Cornette was surprised that the WWE let her slip away. Cornette discussed the situation on his The Jim Cornette Experience program:
If she has been cleared to wrestle, then why did the WWE let her get away? She’s not with Alberto Del Maniac anymore… She’s not having public meltdowns. So if she was cleared to wrestle, and could wrestle, how did the WWE let her get away? You would have to be a complete lunatic to sign a wrestler under those circumstances without having them check to see if they can wrestle. So what’s going on here?

Saraya’s physical condition has concerned fans, wrestlers, and critics who question whether she can compete.
Is Saraya Wrestling in AEW?
Booker T discussed the WWE’s policy on neck injuries and why Saraya was not cleared:
Paige’s departure from the squared circle was unceremoniously not due to her anything of her own doing or anything like that, not really wanting to leave the business, but a medical issue. It was a scary, scary deal when Paige got that kick to the back and her body was just totally all over the place …WWE is very, very serious about neck injuries. Very serious and touchy. Daniel Bryan was out for a neck injury for quite some time … Saraya is still young enough to actually know, you know, her body limitations.”

The former WWE Superstar has been training for a comeback but it’s unknown if the WWE was willing to clear her.
While rumor has it that Triple H was interested in signing her to the WWE, Saraya chose the AEW, which invites the question of whether she chose AEW because the WWE wouldn’t let her wrestle.
