WWE Expected to Announce Inductions Starting Tonight
Is The Great Muta Going into the WWE Hall of Fame? The long-awaited announcements for the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame class are believed to begin soon.
WrestleVotes tweeted earlier today that:
Now, PWInsider is reporting that Muta has been confirmed. No official announcement has been made but Wrestling News’ Paul Davis is reporting:
The first inductee for the WWE Hall Of Fame will be announced during tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown broadcast.

The Great Muta (aka Keiji Muto) hasn’t wrestled in the WWE but his legendary status makes him an ideal candidate for the WWE Hall of Fame. As fans know, the WWE has inducted wrestlers before who never wrestled in the WWE.
Paul Davis commented on the news about Muta’s potential induction:
Muta’s name was first reported by WrestleVotes in February and it was noted that Muta’s induction is part of a trade-off that allowed Shinsuke Nakamura to wrestle Muta in January at NOAH The New Year 2023.
