Dax Harwood Discusses Team’s Plan After AEW Contract Ends in April
FTR reveal they’ve decided where to wrestle. This is good news for FTR fans as the popular tag team has announced they’ve made their decision about what to do when their AEW contract expires. The bad news is that they can’t say anything about where they’re going.

You may recall a report that FTR had signed a new deal with AEW before the team returned at Revolution to confront The Gunns. However, Harwood noted on his podcast:
“That is very surprising to me, because zero has changed.”

FTR joined AEW in 2020. Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler were eager to leave the WWE and the two seemed like a good fit for AEW. The two quickly captured the AEW World Tag Team Championship. This made them the first team to hold tag team gold in both the WWE and AEW.
The team enjoyed championship success, at one point holding three separate tag team titles simultaneously (the IWGP Tag Team Titles, the ROH World Tag Team Titles, and the AAA World Tag Team Titles).
FTR’s AEW run has had its ups and downs (like many WWE stars who jumped to AEW). While their run in MJF’s group The Pinnacle seemed like a good way to jump into the spotlight, things faltered. Nevertheless, it’s difficult to call their time in AEW as a failure.
FTR Reveal They’ve Decided Where to Wrestle
One interesting aspect of FTR’s future is the recent revelation that Dax will be discussing his former boss Triple H on the next episode of his podcast.
