This is a great addition to the NXT 2.0 brand.
Apollo Crews looks set for another run on the NXT brand.
Last night’s NXT saw NXT Champion, Bron Breakker come to the ring to discuss his victory over Joe Gacy at the In Your House event. Breakker then asked who was going to step up to challenge him, and this was when Crews came out. Crews received a thunderous reaction, and it looks like this is the Crews of old, as there was no sign of Commander Azeez.
Crews said he’s been missing NXT, and he’s going to be on the brand for as long as he wants to be. This clearly indicates that this is an extended run, and not a one off appearance.
Crews would then wrestle in the main event, as he teamed with Solo Sikoa to face Grayon Waller and NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes. Crews secured the win for his team, when Crews pinned Waller.
It looks like Crews v Breakker is going to be the top feud on NXT moving forward. This is rather exciting, and it will be interesting to see how the feud develops.
