Delete! Delete! Delete! Rumors on Removed Wrestlers

More MIA wrestlers as Fight Forever deletes more wrestlers from its roster. Fans who had hoped for a large roster seem to be out of luck as the game’s roster continues to shrink.

Ringside News’ Nitish Vashishtha commented on a report from Fightful Select about the absent wrestlers:

The superstars no longer in the game are Evil Uno, Jake Hager, Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen), The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster), and Santana and Ortiz.

Fans recently learned that FTR would not be in the main game, quite the surprise in light of their popularity and their place on the roster.

You may recall that AEW Executive Vice-President Kenny Omega had hoped to have a robust roster for the game. Omega, who has been working closely in the game’s development later announced that the game would not feature as many wrestlers as originally hoped.

AEW has such a large roster that it’s understandable that the game might not have room for everyone when it launches. Nonetheless, there are some obvious omissions like Jake Hager and FTR that will have some people asking what happened.

While talk continues that absent wrestlers could make it to DLC, there has been no confirmation.

For now, gamers will have to wait until the game launches at the end of the year and see if the wait was worth it and whether the game has a balanced roster to make it enjoyable.

What do you think of these absences and will it alter your decision to buy the game? Let us know in the comments below.
