Trios Champions Will Defend Against Fearsome Team
Time for a possible spoiler on The Elite’s opponents at Revolution. The Elite (The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega) have been busy defending their Trios Championship against Top Flight and AR Fox.
However, Dave Meltzer is reporting:
“It appears that The Young Bucks & Kenny Omega defend the trios titles against the House of Black.”

This makes sense as a recent report from the taping for the 17 February edition of Rampage revealed that The House of Black appeared after The Elite’s match, suggesting an upcoming confrontation.
Spoiler: The Elite’s Opponents at Revolution
Analysis: This couldn’t come at a better time as The Elite could benefit from facing a new set of challengers. As exciting as their best-of-seven series was against Death Triangle, that rivalry shouldn’t be revisited for a long time.
On the other hand, The House of Black’s Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews have shown they are a powerful trios team and frankly, could benefit from a program with three of AEW’s top stars and a championship run.
