Edge Helps Mysterios Defeat The Judgment Day
Edge is back! After weeks of mysterious vignettes led to fans speculating that Edge was on his way back, the former leader of The Judgment Day returned to get revenge on the men and woman who betrayed him and beat him down.
The Mysterios’ no-disqualification match seemed to be going their way when Rey and Dominik set up Balor and Priest for double 6-1-9s.
Unfortunately for the babyfaces, Ripley tripped them both up, stopping their momentum before she yanked Dominik out of the ring.
The heels went in for the kill, grabbing a chair with violent intentions for Rey. However, the arena darkened as pyro went off and Edge returned.
Damien Priest ran to intercept Edge but was quickly knocked down. A chair-wielding Finn Balor ate a Spear as did a returning Priest. The Mysterios regained their momentum and made short work of Balor.
Edge is back but as WrestleLamia pondered after he was kicked out of The Judgment Day, is there much life left for the once-promising heel faction?
