Did Vince McMahon reject a world title belt design? Although the wrestling world remains in the dark about Vince McMahon’s involvement in WWE creative today, it appears he rejected a proposal to revive a prominent world championship belt back in 2022.
GiveMeSportis reporting that beltmaker “BeltFanDan,” who is often privy to the goings on in the wrestling world when it comes to news on wrestling titles, recently revealed:
Early 2022 I heard the World Heavyweight Championship was pitched as Universal title replacement. Vince McMahon also wanted a new unified belt for WrestleMania 40.

There are still rumors that Triple H wants to split the Unified World Championship by SummerSlam. Knowing Triple H’s fondness for tradition, he might bring the classic belt back.
