Alexa Bliss Capitalizes on Distraction
Damage-CTRL costs Becky Lynch a title shot against RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, allowing Alexa Bliss to advance to next week’s one-on-one match to battle Bayley.
Lynch wrestled the second of two Triple Threat Matches to determine which two female Superstars will square off for a shot against Bianca Belair. Bayley emerged victorious against Rhea Ripley and Asuka while Becky Lynch seemed to be on her way to victory.
Lynch hit a Manhandle Slam on Nikki Cross while their opponent Alexa Bliss was incapacitated. However, before “The Man” could cover Nikki, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky from Damage-CTRL interfered, taking Lynch out of the match.
Bliss saw her spot and delivered Twisted Bliss to Cross, covering her for the 1-2-3.
Damage-CTRL Costs Becky Title Shot
Things have been building up between Lynch and Damage-CTRL ever since the heel faction took Becky out of action last summer.
Now, Bayley will wrestle Alexa Bliss to determine the number one contender, a match that is likely to have fans wondering whether Becky will interfere.
