Saudi Arabia Warns of Imminent Attack by Iran

Has Crown Jewel been jeopardized by the nation of Iran? Saudi Arabia has warned of an imminent attack by Iran, at least according to a report from Wall Street Journal. Could this have any effect on the WWE’s 5 November Crown Jewel premium live event?

Let’s look at an excerpt from The Wall Street Journal article:

Saudi Arabia has shared intelligence with the U.S. warning of an imminent attack from Iran on targets in the kingdom, putting the American military and others in the Middle East on an elevated alert level, said Saudi and U.S. officials

Naturally, such an attack would impact things more important than the airing of a wrestling event but since this is WrestleLamia and not Foreign Affairs, we’ll focus on wrestling and leave the geopolitical analysis to others.

Why is Iran Allegedly About to Launch Attacks?

The Journal article explained why Iran has been acting more belligerent than usual:

Iranian authorities have also publicly accused Saudi Arabia, along with the U.S. and Israel, of instigating the demonstrations. Last month, the commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps publicly warned Saudi Arabia to rein in coverage of the protests in Iran by Farsi-language satellite news channels, including Iran International, a Saudi-backed satellite television channel based in London popular with many Iranians

There has been political unrest in Iran including protests against the government. The Wall Street Journal reports that Iran has already fired missiles at northern Iraq because:

Tehran has publicly blamed what it calls Iranian Kurdish separatist groups based there for fomenting the unrest at home.

Crown Jewel Jeopardized by Iran?

Analysis: It’s unknown if this is a case of saber-rattling by Iran or a legitimate threat. It’s also unknown how the WWE will react to the threat.

The WWE Universe has seen the WWE’s “the show must go on” philosophy numerous times. This includes the WWF continuing its Over the Edge pay-per-view after Owen Hart’s in-ring death, the company holding a SmackDown episode days after 11 September 2001, and the WWE airing shows through the pandemic.

However, what if the WWE is told of a realistic threat to the Crown Jewel show? The idea of the WWE holding the show if the threat is realistic seems insane. At this point, it’s too early to tell.

There are other options should the WWE decide to avoid risking its wrestlers’ safety. The promotion could hold the show elsewhere or even postpone it.

I am making $90 an hour working from home. I never imagined that it was honest to goodness yet my closest companion is earning $16,000 a month by working on a laptop, that was truly astounding for me, she prescribed for me to attempt it simply.
Everybody must try this job now by just using this site.. http://www.maxjob3.com
