Should WWE Fans Be Afraid?
Cody Rhodes warns the WWE Universe but should fans be afraid? Is he preparing them for Roman Reigns to beat him at WrestleMania XXXIX, much as he’s done every other opponent for the last three years?
No, in this case, Cody is letting fans know to be prepared for merchandise based on the gruesome pectoral injury he suffered last year. Cody cautioned fans during the post-Rumble press conference:
“I went out and I was in there with an unbelievable wrestler in Seth Rollins, an unbelievable Superstar. I’m glad people like it [the match with Rollins]. Please don’t get irritated with the amount of merchandise that’s going to come out around that pec, ’cause by god, y’all … if you thought my AEW figures were bad, whew, we’re buckling up. It’s really cool, but I hope people don’t get too annoyed with it. I’ve never watched it back [his match with Rollins], I never will watch it back,”

Wrestling fans have seen some hideous merchandise before. Is there something Cody is afraid to tell us? With any luck it won’t be so cringey that it ruins his momentum.
