Is the former AEW World Champion completely… DONE?!
It looks like the relationship between CM Punk and AEW has completely broken down.
According to notable wrestling journalist, Wade Keller on the latest edition of PWTorch audio, he believes that Punk won’t ever wrestle for AEW again.
Keller stated:
“I think this is noteworthy but not surprising [that] he excluded CM Punk’s name as he talked about some of the biggest names who have held the title,” Keller said. “That’s a bit of a tell. As I talked with Jason Powell yesterday about – I am not expecting CM Punk to wrestle in AEW again. I’m not saying it’s 100 percent sure thing but everything is pointing in the direction of some sort of buyout of his contract. We’ll learn more eventually about that situation”.
A new AEW World Champion was crowned on Dynamite last night as Jon Moxley defeated Bryan Danielson. Additionally, a new ROH World Champion was crowned, as Chris Jericho captured the title for the first time in his illustrious career.

Punk had it coming. 7 years on the shelf and he comes back and only he could ruin it. It really is a shame and maybe karma will bite him in the ass and he’ll either A) quit wrestling for good or B) come crawling back to either Triple H or Tony Khan. Either way, it isn’t the Elite, Hangman, Tony, the injuries, or the fans that ruined CM Punk, it was CM Punk that ruined CM Punk.
LMAO! You type like you know CM Punk, like you know the man behind the character. All you do is basing your opinion on mostly 3rd person “reports”. I’ve never met the man so I can’t tell what’s true or not(obviously the brawl was) but you paint a picture like you know him and what’s really happened! 😂😂😂

Not really bothered. There are better wrestlers in AEW, and FAR better wrestlers on the mic.
I hope be stays gone. Goback to his hol3 in Chicago and stay there with his wife and his ego. He’s burnt every bridge behind him at hos own choice except MMA & he’s proven he ain’t cut out for that. AEW was his last chance at a legacy & he blew it shooting off his mouth again. Take your money go home & do a convention here and there. Sign some autographs. Take some pics. Go to sleep.

I always thought a lot of CM Punk, just because he made the show after being a full blown yard tard. That is a huge stretch for many. At the same time, though; the Hardys we’re picked up by Omega after yarding careers and made it to the biggest show. If you can look past their checkered criminal histories, they were successful. These guys are constantly places in situations where heat is inevitable. How they handle it determines the difference between a success and a failure. Color me disappointed, bit surprised.

I find it hilarious that the same sorta journalists Punk had blasted for inaccurate reporting are again, inaccurately reporting. Just spitting out clickbait articles like they have even the slightest clue what’s going on.
