Flair last wrestled for WWE back at the WrestleMania Backlash event.
Charlotte Flair has been taking a leave of absence from WWE TV since the WrestleMania Backlash event. Flair dropped the SmackDown Women’s Title to Ronda Rousey, but it looks like Flair may be on her way back to the blue brand.
The official website for the PNC Arena, which will host SmackDown on August 12 in Raleigh, North Carolina, is advertising Flair for the show. The official advertisement reads:
“WWE® SmackDown returns to Raleigh. See your favorite Superstars live. Featuring SmackDown Women’s Champion Rowdy Ronda Rousey! See the Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre, the undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos, and many more! Also, from Monday Night RAW, RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair vs. Asuka vs. Rhea Ripley in a Triple Threat Match plus Charlotte Flair”.
The SmackDown women’s division badly needs star power, and Flair is certainly just that. However, this could mean that WWE will once again be re-visiting the Rousey v Flair storyline.
