Austin Theory Offers Cena the Gift of a ‘Mania Match
Cena vs Theory is booked for WrestleMania. That match that fans have heard about for weeks is now official. John Cena appeared in his hometown of Boston in front of a sold-out arena. Cena’s homecoming was interrupted by United States Champion Austin Theory who showed up with a gift for Cena.
Theory told Cena how he inspired him to become a wrestler with his virtues of hustle, loyalty, and respect. Now, he had a gift for Cena; the chance to battle him at WrestleMania.
Cena thought about the offer and quickly responded NO. John said Theory doesn’t have it. Cena said he doesn’t believe Theory. The fans don’t believe Theory. Even Theory doesn’t believe Theory.
Naturally, Theory wasn’t happy with Cena’s rejection The 16-time world champion didn’t hold anything back. He told Theory he had everything to lose if Cena beats him and nothing to gain if he wins.
Cena told Theory to get out of the ring while he was still in one piece. “A-Town” didn’t back down, telling John “I’m not going anywhere. Just like that bald spot on the back of your head.”
The U.S. champion accused Cena of showing no respect for his fans by turning down the match. Cena said Theory made the mistake of insulting his fans. Cena asked the fans if he should wrestle Theory.
Naturally, the fans told Cena to take the match and he did, taking one last shot at Theory.
