Baker Questions Rosa’s Behavior While Reportedly Injured
Britt Baker blasts Thunder Rosa again, a move which is likely to further speculation that there’s still backstage heat on Rosa.
Baker (as well as her boyfriend Adam Cole) recently spoke with SLAM! Sports’ John Powell. The two were there to promote their involvement in AEW’s new reality show, All Access. During the chat, Baker was asked about comments she had previously made about Thunder Rosa.
The Thunder Rosa Question
Last August, Thunder Rosa revealed she was dealing with a back injury. AEW chose to keep the AEW Women’s Championship on her while she recovered. This led to AEW crowning Toni Storm as Interim Women’s Champion at 2022’s All Out.
Despite Rosa’s claims, there were rumors not everyone was convinced Rosa was actually hurt. One of the theories was that Rosa (who reportedly had backstage heat) had made up the injury.
Britt was asked whether she still feels the way she did when she questioned how Rosa gave up the championship due to an injury, but continued making personal appearances. Baker responded:
“I stand by everything I said because I still have the same questions… You are traveling all over the place for other projects but you’re not coming work where you are the champion? I have that question. I want to know why.”

Baker explained why she is asking this question:
I am just asking that question because I’m very passionate and protective of AEW. Anyone can call me a bully but I stand by that and that question still hasn’t been answered to this day.”

It remains to be seen when Thunder Rosa will return to AEW. At this point, Rosa may question whether she wants to return if and when she is medically cleared.
