“It Looked Like His Body Folded Up”

A Bobby Lashley freak accident had fans gasping at a recent live event. Members of the WWE Universe attending the 28 April live event in Newcastle, England, got to see thrills, chills, and an unexpected spill as the ring ropes broke, leading to Bobby Lashley falling out of the ring and taking what looked like a nasty bump. According to a report from Wrestling News’ Paul Davis:

Lashley was in the ring with Drew McIntyre. Lashley slipped out of a power move and then hit the ropes just as it looked like McIntyre was setting up for the Claymore. Instead, Lashley crashed to the outside because the top rope broke. The way Lashley fell, it looked like his body folded up.

While “The Scottish Warrior” was able to stabilize himself, fans were concerned about “The Almighty.” Thankfully, fans attending the show reported that despite the freak accident, Bobby Lashley didn’t appear hurt. It’s unknown what caused the ropes to break but the good news is that there doesn’t appear to be any serious injury. These types of occurrences are rare in the WWE so the promotion will undoubtedly investigate the cause.

The two-time WWE Champion posted video of himself taking a tumble via Instagram with the message “Unstoppable 🙏🏾👊🏾” Naturally, Lashley had to be happy he wasn’t injured as he was dealing with a shoulder injury earlier this year, with rumors the big man might require surgery.

Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre have had some epic battles.

Thankfully, the WWE appears to have dodged a tricky situation as neither McIntyre nor Lashley was injured. The last thing the WWE needs is for either star to miss out on the upcoming premium event.as McIntyre is booked to face undisputed Champion Brock Lesnar while Lashley will battle Omos in a rematch.

WrestleLamia will continue following this story for any further developments.
